A group of six people representing two different offices in charge of services of oversea Chinese in Anhui Province headed by Ms. Lifang Zhang met with representatives and families of Anhui Fellows Association in Seattle having had great conversation on the 29th. Ms. Zhang paid special attention to the sincere concerns of great changes taken place in the hometown. Many projects going on in the hometown area were introduced and well talked about during the dinner meeting. The delegation attended the Summit Meetings held by Amazon and Microsoft Friday in Bellevue wishing to recruit talented people who would like to serve the hometown projects. 

 Together with the meeting, were Xiaohong Chen, Chairwoman of "Washington Art Association " and Mr. Johnny Jin representing "Northwest Chinese School". 

2017 年9 月29日晚， 由中国安徽省外事办公室张力芳主任、合肥市侨联办公室刘亮亮主任、侨政处等一行六人代表团，与西雅图“安徽同乡会”的代表在Redmond Haiku Buffe 会面，畅谈家乡的巨大变化。张主任对同乡们关注家乡变化表示极大赞扬，并由团组成员详细介绍了各种发展机遇。参加会面的还有张开龙先生、孙兵先生、刘登银先生，分别代表合肥市侨联、合肥高新区招商局及合肥新区管委会的重托，并与代表们进行了深入的沟通与交流，热切期待同乡们有机会回乡访问交流，共同关注安徽的发展。与会者特邀嘉宾西雅图中文学校靳瞻型先生、华盛顿艺术报社陈晓红女士，一同分享与交流。
